Theme Submission Agreement
Version: 2026-07-19
This Agreement applies when you upload, submit, or update themes and related content in the ReTheme community. Before review, confirm that you hold the necessary rights and understand the responsibilities of contributors and the platform.
1. Submitted content and ownership
Submitted content includes theme code, styles, images, fonts, characters, names, descriptions, tags, and all other material in a theme package. Submission does not transfer copyright or other intellectual-property rights to ReTheme; those rights remain with the contributor or original rights holder.
Free community sharing does not waive copyright or make ReTheme the owner of submitted content.
2. Your rights warranty
You warrant that submitted content is original or properly licensed for upload, modification, display, reproduction, and distribution, and that you comply with open-source licenses, font licenses, trademark rules, and other applicable terms.
For anime, game, film, or other characters, brand assets, third-party works, or fan art, you must verify the applicable use and distribution rules. Attribution, non-commercial use, or describing work as fan art does not by itself grant permission.
You must not submit pirated, plagiarized, privacy-infringing, unlawful content or content that falsely implies an official partnership.
3. License needed to operate the community
You grant ReTheme a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, inspect, encrypt, sign, convert, generate covers from, reproduce, display, and distribute submitted content, including its name, previews, attribution, and description.
This license is limited to operating, maintaining, securing, promoting the ReTheme community, and delivering themes to users; it is not a transfer of ownership. After unpublishing, ReTheme stops new public distribution but may retain necessary records for legal compliance, disputes, security audits, and reasonable backups.
4. Infringement responsibility
You are responsible for the source, authorization, and legality of submitted content. Claims, penalties, or disputes resulting from infringement or unlawful content are generally the contributor's legal responsibility.
Automated checks, human review, or publication do not certify ownership or transfer your responsibility to ReTheme. If your breach causes ReTheme actual loss, ReTheme may seek recovery as permitted by law.
5. Notices and takedowns
Rights holders may send an infringement notice to admin@dux.plus with identity, proof of rights, the exact URL, and an explanation. Depending on completeness and risk, ReTheme may hide, suspend, or remove content while contacting the contributor.
Contributors may provide authorization or a counter-explanation. ReTheme reviews the supplied materials under applicable law but does not replace a court in finally deciding ownership. Repeat or serious infringement may lead to submission restrictions or account termination.
6. Platform responsibility
ReTheme provides hosting, technical checks, and community publication and cannot substantively verify every chain of title. To the extent permitted by law, ReTheme is not responsible for third-party infringement directly caused by a contributor's unauthorized upload.
This section does not exclude duties imposed by law, including processing valid notices, necessary takedowns, evidence preservation, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Acceptance and updates
By checking acceptance and submitting for review, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the Agreement displayed on that page. The submission timestamp also serves as the acceptance time.
Material revisions require acceptance of the latest version for new submissions or updates. Questions and infringement notices: admin@dux.plus.
